Disable connected services in Office

  1. Go to your Registry Editor(Win + R > input regedit)
  2. Go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Internet\UseOnlineContent
  3. Set the value to 0.

If you can’t find the file named “UseOnlineContent”, right click>New>DWORD (32-bit) Value>Name it to be “UseOnlineContent”>Double click it and set the value to “0” to disable the sign in.
